Talking about this topic is not a good idea always or with anyone, as many are quite sensitive about therapy.

The matter is, in fact, exaggerated so much that the whole subject has become taboo. Thus, many people who go into therapy feel crazy. However, this could not be further from the truth!

For others or ourselves, seeking advice and recommendations from people close to you is never a bad idea. But a professional perspective on problems and analyzing certain things from different perspectives can be very helpful in difficult situations.

On the other hand, this is not the role of a lawyer or a priest. You can’t expect a Therapist to tell you things that will make your own problems disappear like magic.

The role of the professional in this situation focuses on a mutual discussion that, through  questions and advice, allows the patient to reveal what is happening to him or her for  good or evil. This reveals how the situation can be resolved.

How can we determine who needs therapy?

It is not easy to find out if a visit to a therapist (or more therapists) would be needed. While this is not a problem for some people, it is a complicated step for most.

The decision must be clear and fully committed, despite the difficulties that may be involved. Chances are you’ll have to think about it once and for all.

1. You need support that does not involve being convicted

One common problem is that people pay more attention to others than to themselves. For this and many other reasons, a  session with a therapist can be a good idea in your own case as well.
