In such situations, the only option is to prescribe mild opioids. The analgesic effect of this subgroup of substances is reasonable, but they are easier to deal with.

Strong opioids can be prescribed when a person suffers from severe and acute pain. This family of drugs is more potent, but they have a very narrow therapeutic margin, so dependence is very likely.

Such drugs are strictly controlled under medical supervision. In addition to dosing, you must also take care of the time between each dose and take a break from them.

As we mentioned earlier,  drug opioids pose a risk of becoming addicted. However, doctors still prescribe these medications when there is no other painkiller option.

The general abuse of these substances also takes place in the mind of recreation. In this case, the person has no medical right to use them, and he only uses them to get a “pleasant” feeling, which creates addiction. When this happens, the dependence is already so great that a person will get withdrawal symptoms if he stops using them.
